How to Play
  • Let the kids know that when they hear a certain number of claps (such as three in a row), they have to run to the other side of the space.
  • This will develop listening and rhythm skills.
Change it up / Alternatives / Additional Options
  • You can vary the number of claps to indicate a different movement. One clap means run, three claps means jump etc.
  • Instead of varying the number, change the rhythm of the clapping to indicate the signal to move.
  • Once the kids have the idea, a certain clapping routine can be to move and another to stop.
