How to Play
  • Leader shouts out ‘ducks fly’ and all the participants run around flapping their wings.
  • The leader continues to shout out things that fly such as ‘eagles fly’, ‘airplanes fly ’, ‘helicopters fly’, ‘pterodactyls fly’, ‘owls fly’ etc.
  • If the leader shouts out something that does not fly, such as ‘cars fly’, ‘people fly’, ‘lions fly’ etc, the children should stop moving as quickly as they can. 
Change it up / Alternatives / Additional Options
  • If you have a participant who is deaf or hard of hearing, have cue cards of different flying and non-flying things.
