Coloured cards or felt squares with a number, a letter, a colour word or shape on each card (Note: these can be made by the children).

Vigorous play, developing body control and movement skills.
How to Play
Scatter cards around area. Call out a sequence of colours to move to. For example: “first red, then blue, then green.”
Notes
This activity aims to develop the fundamental movement skill of locomotion (running, jumping, galloping, side shuffling, hopping).
