1 - 2 cups
unsweetened, shredded coconut and other chopped seeds or nuts (e.g. pumpkin seeds, pecans)
3 Tbsp
brown sugar or maple syrup

cinnamon

salt
2 Tbsp
canola oil
1 cup
cup dried fruit (optional—not recommended for children 4 and under due to choking risk)
Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325F.

2. Ensure all nuts and seeds being used are chopped small enough to prevent choking in children 4 and under. Mix all ingredients except dried fruit and spread in an even layer on two baking sheets (or if you only have one, cook half at a time).

3. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden, stirring every 10 minutes.

4. Add dried fruit if using. Allow to cool completely before storing in air-tight bag or container. Keeps well in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
