How to Play

Place a number of plastic containers in one area of the play space. Place the lids in another. Have the children move to the lids and try to match them with the right container lid.

Change it up / Alternatives / Additional Options
  • For younger children, you can place all the objects in the same location so they are able to reach and grab many objects and see if they can match the lids. It is unlikely they will match the lids, but they will enjoy trying!
  • If you have a participant who uses a wheelchair, place the items on a raised surface such as a table so they are able to reach them.
  • If you have a child with another type of disability not mentioned above, they may be able to participate in this activity without adaptations or modifications
