Valentine’s Beet Smoothie

A great way to celebrate Valentine’s (or any other) day with a gorgeously colourful and healthy treat.

Ingredients

beet, peeled and quartered

bananas
1 cup
frozen strawberries or raspberries
2 cups
milk or unsweetened fortified soy beverage
Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients together. If it’s too thick, thin with water. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 day. Stir or blend again quickly if needed after refrigerating.
