How to Play

1.    Sing the following lyrics and move as identified.

See the little bunnies, sleeping until noon (children curl up in a ball on the floor)
Come let us wake them, with a merry tune
See how still, are they ill?
Wake up little bunnies and hop, hop, hop (children stand up and hop around)

2.    Repeat the song using different animals and motions: horse and prance, elephant and stomp, cheetah and run, snake and slither, kangaroo and jump, eagle and soar.

Change it up / Alternatives / Additional Options

1.   Ask the children for ideas for animals and movements.
2.   For children with gross motor limitations or who are unable to move like the animals, suggest making the noises of the animal instead.
3.   If you have a child with another type of disability not mentioned above, they may be able to participate in this activity without adaptations or modifications
